EL CASERÍO

In this room guests will enjoy the traditional Basque furniture (table and chairs), the farming tools that were used to work the fields (clothes hangers) and the traditional milk pots (beside tables).

 

LA BALDOSA DE BILBAO

This symbol of the city is colored in "Bilbao blue". It is an evocation of the colors of nature, the course of a river, the move of the water, Bilbao sky after a rainy day,...

 

EL MÚSICO ARRIAGA

Arriaga was born in the ancient district of Bilbao in 1806, he was one of the most prominent composers on the history of the Spanish music. The theater of Bilbao took his name in his honor.

 

KAROLA CRANE

Table and chairs in the room represent the boat berths used in this shipyard until 1984.

 

LA MARIJAIA

Marijaia is the symbol of Bilbao's festivities. She was designed in 1978 and she is one of the most popular and beloved characters in Bibao.

 

EL EUSKERA

Basque language is together with Spanish the official language of the basque Country and Navarra. It is also spoken in southern France, a region named as Iparralde or French basque Country.

 

GERNIKA

The room is inspired in Pablo Picasso's well know painting named GERNIKA. The furniture and details around the room remind to the painting which represents part of our history.

 

EL TXAKOLI

Enjoy this rooms between grapes and barrels ( kupelas) as well as the good food and wine of our region.

 

FOREST OMA

The hall of the Hostel is inspired in the animated forest OMA, it is located in the natural reserve of Urdaibai where one can find tress full of colors, paintings and figures.
